1. Company Information

Luggage CareFree Oy (“Luggage CareFree”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in Finland, providing luggage transport, storage, and locker services through partner hotels, partner locations, and managed facilities.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website, platform, and services. By using our services or completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

Luggage CareFree provides services including, but not limited to:

Collection of customer luggage from partner hotels or locations

Transportation of luggage to designated storage facilities

Locker-based and monitored storage services

Temporary luggage holding and retrieval services

Services may be provided directly by Luggage CareFree or through authorized partner locations and operators.

3. Eligibility and Customer Responsibilities

Customers must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

The customer is responsible for:

Providing accurate booking information

Ensuring lawful use of the service

Following all instructions and safety requirements

Ensuring that stored items comply with these Terms

4. Accuracy of Declarations and Safety Compliance

By completing a booking, the customer represents and warrants that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.

The customer agrees to comply with all applicable safety, security, and transportation regulations, including rules concerning prohibited, restricted, or dangerous items.

The customer shall not store or transport any illegal, hazardous, explosive, flammable, perishable, or otherwise prohibited items.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that providing inaccurate declarations or failing to comply with mandatory safety and security requirements, including rules regarding prohibited items, may result in your luggage being returned to the sender at your expense. You agree to be fully responsible for all associated costs.

5. Non-Compliance, Returns, and Contractual Penalty

If the customer provides false, incomplete, or misleading information, or violates safety requirements, Luggage CareFree reserves the right to refuse, suspend, terminate, or reverse the service.

In such cases, luggage may be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.

The customer shall be solely responsible for all resulting costs, including transportation, storage, handling, and administrative fees.

In addition, Luggage CareFree reserves the right to charge a contractual penalty of EUR 150. This penalty does not limit our right to claim additional compensation for damages exceeding this amount.

6. Booking, Payment, and Pricing

All bookings must be made through the Luggage CareFree platform or authorized channels.

Prices are displayed during booking and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment must be completed before service execution. We reserve the right to refuse service in case of non-payment.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are provided during booking.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the stated policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

No refunds are granted for misuse, prohibited items, or customer non-compliance.

8. Locker Service

8.1. Access and Use

Luggage CareFree’s locker service allows customers to store personal property in lockers at partner or managed locations. Access instructions are provided through our platform.

8.2. Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for placing, securing, and retrieving their property within the booking period.

8.4. Inspection and Removal

Luggage CareFree and partners may inspect, open, disable, relocate, or remove property without prior notice when required for safety, legal, or operational reasons, including suspected prohibited items or overstays.

8.5. Damage and Costs

Customers are liable for all damage, misuse, vandalism, or impairment of lockers.

If forced access is required, the customer bears all associated repair, replacement, removal, and administrative costs.

8.6. Surveillance

Locker premises may be subject to video surveillance in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability and Risk Allocation

Customers use our services at their own risk.

Luggage CareFree is not responsible for:

Normal wear and tear

Minor cosmetic damage

Indirect or consequential losses

Loss caused by force majeure events

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We recommend that customers maintain adequate personal travel or property insurance.

10. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited:

Illegal substances

Weapons and explosives

Flammable or toxic materials

Cash, securities, or valuables

Perishable goods

Live animals

We reserve the right to refuse service and notify authorities if prohibited items are detected.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, and our Privacy Policy.

By using our services, you consent to such processing.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, and materials are the intellectual property of Luggage CareFree Oy and may not be used without written permission.

13. Modification of Terms

Luggage CareFree reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will be published on our website and become effective upon publication.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate access to our services if these Terms are violated, or if required by law or operational necessity.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, governmental actions, technical failures, or transportation disruptions.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
